Czech parliamentarian calls for lifting coercive economic measures imposed on Syria

The head of the Czech Parliamentary Group for Friendship with Syria, Dr. Stanislav Grosbic, today called for lifting unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague today, Grosbic denounced the American policies towards Syria and the pressures exerted against it.

Grosbic considered that these measures are getting close to the end, the same as the practices of the Saudi regime and the Israeli occupation entity which aim at prolonging the crisis in Syria.

Grosbic underlined the necessity of effectively supporting Syria in the international forums in order to lift the unjust economic measures and liberate the remaining lands from terrorism and occupation.

He confirmed that the future of Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and the countries of the region cannot be subject to the wills of criminal governments.
