Iraqi air forces kill six terrorists in Salah Eddin governorate

Baghdad (ST): Six terrorists were killed today in airstrikes carried out by the Iraqi air force in Salah Eddin governorate in the centre of Iraq.

Al-Someriah news website quoted the Iraqi security media cell as saying that the air force stationed in Salah Eddin governorate carried out an operation killing four terrorists. Another two terrorists were killed and a pick up and two boats were destroyed during the operation.

 

The website added that a tunnel and two hideouts for terrorists were also destroyed, noting that an Iraqi soldier was martyred and an officer wounded during the operation.

Earlier, the Iraqi air forces targeted yesterday Daesh dens in Himrin Mountains in Diyali governorate north of Iraq killing a number of terrorists.
