Citizens in Hasaka rally in condemnation of US illegal presence in Syria, crime of assassinating Lt. Gen. Soleimani

HASAKA, (ST)- Citizens in the Syrian province of Hasaka took to the streets on Sunday in condemnation of the presence of the US and Turkish occupation forces in Syria and the crime of assassinating Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and his companions near Baghdad Airport.

The participants gathered in front of the Justice Palace in Hasaka, calling for the withdrawal of all American and Turkish occupation troops from the Syrian territories. They urged joining all the Syrians’ efforts to resist the occupiers and support the Syrian Arab Army in its war on terrorism till the restoration of stability and security for the entire Syrian territory.

 The participants affirmed that martyr Soleimani and his companions have presented an example to follow in sacrifice, in resisting occupation and in loving the homeland, reiterating that resistance will continue till the occupation is expelled and the usurped rights are restored.

They affirmed that the Syrians are a resisting people who has a right to defend, vowing continuous struggle until all aggression forces are defeated.
