A solidarity meeting in Egypt confirms a positive stance towards Syria

On January 11, the Nasserite Party and the Egyptian People’s Committee for Solidarity with the Syrian People held a solidarity meeting entitled “Blatant Turkish Intervention in the Arab Region”.

Participants in the meeting, which comes in the framework of the popular event, “Boycotting Turkish goods” in Mansoura, expressed their support for Syria in the face of the terrorist war that was launched against it, praising the struggles of the Syrian leadership, army and people and their sacrifices in combating terrorist organizations on behalf of the world.

Dr. Bassam Darwish, the Chargé d’Affairs of the Syrian Embassy in Egypt, said that Syria is fighting terrorism on behalf of all countries of the world.

The Secretary of the Nasserite Party in the Governorate of Dakahlia Mahmoud Mujar said:

“Egypt and Syria are united by a common destiny and goal. Erdogan tried to occupy Syrian lands and failed, and today he plans to occupy Egyptian lands and will fail.”

For his part, General Coordinator of the Egyptian People’s Committee for Solidarity with the Syrian People Hisham Lotfi said that what is happening is a conspiracy led by Turkey and the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group.

He added that Egypt will stand against that conspiracy as it did in the days of the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser when it stood against Zionism.

Egyptian Parliamentary Nashwa El-Deeb said:

“The Syrian people are heroes and fighters, who fought and continue the fight against terrorism on behalf of everyone.”

Dr. Dalia Al-Atribi affirmed Syria’s support in facing any aggression.

The National Guard, the National Youth Coalition, and the Turkish Products Boycott Committee participated in the meeting.
