MOSCOW, (ST)- The Kremlin press service said on Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet on January 11th in Moscow to discuss several important issues including the crisis in Syria.
In a statement on Monday, the Kremlin Press service said that on January 11th, Merkel will start a working visit to Russia at the invitation of President Putin and she will hold talks with the Russian president on the crisis in Syria, the situation in Libya and the tension in the Middle East triggered by the American rocket attack that targeted the Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani in Iraq on Friday.
Among other issues to be discussed during Putin-Merkel summit, is the crisis in Ukraine.
