Syria , Her Friends Will not Accept Dictates
Damascus, (ST) _Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Faisal Al- Mikdad stressed that the success of any conference or international effort to help the Syrian people to reach a political solution to the current crisis depends on the sincere intentions of supporters of terrorism in Syria, noting that the cessation of terrorism and violence is a key factor in ending the crisis.
In an interview with the “Syria News” TV on Tuesday al-Miqdad said Syria continues contacts with friends to discuss issues related to participation and agenda of the international conference, finalized between Russia and the USA and to know the outcome of the diplomatic move in this framework in order to determine its position on this Conference.
“Since the beginning, Syria wants a political solution through political reforms and national dialogue and the government prime preoccupation is to reach a Syrian-led political solution to restore security and stability, ” al-Miqdad emphasized .

Al- Miqdad pointed out that the achievements of the Syrian army against terrorism on the ground and the growing public, Arab and international awareness of what is happening in Syria imposed results of the recent American Russian meeting in Moscow.
What does Syria need primarily , he continued, is to stop violence and arming and funding terrorist gangs that kill the Syrian people and destroy their economy and infrastructure by Western countries, in cooperation with Turkey and certain Gulf states to change Syria ‘s political approach from resisting Israeli and western policies to be under the will of Israel and the West.

Al-Miqdad stressed Syria and her friends will not accept any dictates and the Russian position is principled , based on UN Charter , international law principles and fighting terrorism.
” Certain Arab countries are keen to serve Israel’s interest more than its own to the extent they waive the occupied Palestinian territories and debated inter- exchange of the Palestinian territories not for the benefit of the Palestinian people but that of Israel only, “Al-Miqdad stressed.
He stressed the secretariat of the Arab League AL contributed to the destruction of its credibility and its Secretary-General Nabil Elaraby played a destructive and insincere role in leading it.
” We do not rely on statements by Elaraby and others, concerning AL positions because the decision of the recent Arab summit is clear in funding and arming terrorism in Syria, and because the AL is now led by Qatar,” he continued .
Al- Miqdad stressed that the Palestinian issue will remain alive in the conscience of all Syrians and Syria will always defend the Palestinian cause, and stand in the same trench with the Palestinian people to restore their land and build an independent state, pointing out that the Syrian stance will not waver because of the current crisis.
” Surrenders , who deal with Israel and trade with the Palestinian blood should lift their hands from the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria after they sided with Syria ‘s enemy whose hands are stained with the blood of the Syrians.

He explained the Government of Justice and Development Party in Turkey is but a group of liars and charlatans who have no credibility ,turning Turkey into a game in NATO hands , pointing out they do not have a vision of how to get out of the mess that they fell in supporting terrorism in Syria.
Al-Miqdad went on that Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is infected with Hysteria because he is a true partner in shedding the Syrian blood, a pro-al Qaeda radical in a way or another, a falsifier and distorter of facts that mislead the Turkish people and leadership and a farce caricature that must be put into end.
