General Command : Army liberates over 40 towns in Idleb, vows to completely eliminate terrorism

DAMASCUS, (ST)_The Syrian army units press ahead with their operations in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idleb amid consecutive collapse among armed terrorist groups after destroying their command center and inflicting heavy losses on them, according to a statement released today by the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces.

The statement made it clear that the army units liberated in the past few days an area of 320 kms and drove out al-Nusra Front terrorists from it and captured over 40 towns and villages.

It asserted the determination of armed forces to complete the liberation of Idleb province from all terrorist groups , pointing out that Syrian army is keen on protecting all civilians and it calls on them to leave flashpoint areas towards the safe ones, which are under the control of the army units.

“Fighting terrorism will continue till the liberation of all areas being occupied by terrorists or their agents no matter where they are and what they are called. The Syrian flag will be raised on all areas in the country,” the statement concluded.
