Erdogan’s regime authorities issue arrest warrants for 30 people

Ankara, (ST) – The authorities of the regime of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today issued arrest warrants for 30 people, including soldiers under the pretext of their links to Fethullah Gulen, whom this regime accuses of being behind the attempted coup that took place in July 2016.

Anatolia government Agency said that the prosecution in Konya province referred to the fact that “23 of those wanted, according to the notes, are active duty soldiers.”

Security sources, who declined to be identified, announced that “the wanted men are accused of working for the Gulen organization.”

During the years following the coup attempt, the Turkish regime authorities arrested more than 77,000 people and took decisions to dismiss or suspend work against some 150,000 workers in the government, the army, the judiciary, education, and other institutions, and a state of emergency and restrictions were imposed on the media and journalists.

Earlier on former Turkish Foreign Minister Murad Kara Yalchin stressed that the agreement and understanding with Syria is an urgent need to address all the problems that Turkey suffers from.

Kara Yalchin said in a television interview that “Erdogan is determined not to abide by his pledges regarding the situation in Syria, which will exacerbate the crisis there while continuing his direct and indirect intervention and providing all kinds of support to terrorist groups.”
