Libyan army: The whole world opposes Turkish military intervention in Libya

The Libyan army reiterated rejection of any military intervention by the Turkish regime in Libya, noting that all world countries reject such intervention.

Director of the Political Guidance in the Libyan army major general Khaled al-Mahjoub condemned the agreement of the Libyan government on the Turkish military interference, stressing that the Libyan army would fight for preserving Libya’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Al-Mahjoub said that the whole world stands against terrorism and would not accept the Turkish military intervention.

Earlier, Libyan mass media said the reconciliation government headed by Fayez al-Sarraj decided in its latest meeting to ask for what it called qualitative and logistic support from Turkey.

The Libyan Parliament also denounced the statement made by head of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyep Erdogan about his readiness to dispatch his troops to Libya, warning Erdogan that Libya would not be the gate for the return of the obsolete Ottoman occupation of the Arab Homeland.
