Erdogan regime authorities arrest 26 people under the pretext of their involvement in the coup attempt

Ankara,(ST)- The authorities of the Turkish regime arrested 26 people under the pretext of their association with the Fatah Allah Gulen organization, whom this regime accuses of involvement in the coup attempt in Turkey in July 2016.

The Turkish Anatolia Agency quoted security sources as saying that “the prosecution in Kutahya province, western Turkey, issued arrest warrants for 20 people, 12 of whom were arrested, while the search for the rest remains.”

Prosecutors also issued arrest warrants for Tokat in the north of Turkey, for 15 people, 14 of whom were arrested, and the search for the rest continues.

The authorities of the Turkish regime arrested yesterday 171 people under the pretext of their involvement in the coup attempt that took place in July 2016.

Since the coup attempt, Erdogan’s regime launched a severe repression campaign to target his opponents as tens of thousands of people were arrested and sacked in various civil and military institutions in the country.
