Tehran is considering the next step to reduce its obligations under the nuclear agreement

Tehran, ST- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi announced today that Tehran is studying the next step regarding reducing its obligations under the nuclear agreement.

Mousavi said in his weekly press conference: “We are currently studying the next step regarding reducing our obligations under the nuclear agreement,” adding that “Iran will not allow the continuation of US embargoes against it,” noting that  the embargo is worse than war itself because it prevents the delivery of medicine to the Iranian people.”

Mousavi added that all countries concerned with the nuclear deal denounced the exit of the US  from it, indicating that the US policy is floundering toward Iran.

Last month, Iran began implementing the fourth step of reducing its obligations under the nuclear agreement in response to the failure of European countries to fulfill their obligations in this regard.

In another context, Mousavi said that “Tehran can implement prisoner exchanges with other countries if it serves Iranian citizens.”

On Russia’s suspension of its cooperation on the Iranian Fordo facility, Mousavi expressed that it was because of technical problems, as Iranian and Russian experts are working to  resolve these problems.
