Syria,Venezuela Hand in Hand

CARACAS,(ST) – “Venezuela and Syria…Two Peoples, One Resistance.”is the title of the political and cultural event which was organized by the Unified Socialist Party of Venezuela in Caracas.

The Syrian Embassy in Caracas has a helping hand in coordinating the event  coordination which was attended by a large number of the Syrian community, in addition to Venezuelan MPs, officers and representatives of several political parties.

 The USP representative  in San Juan, Elliot Hernandez, delivered a speech in which he condemned the imperialist American attack on Syria that has been going on for two years carried out by the agents of imperialism inside and outside Syria.

Hernandez underscored that  when those agents failed to accomplish the mission, Israel stepped up to carry out the task.

 “Israel will never be able to undermine the steadfastness of the Syrian leadership and people, “emphasized Hernandez.

“Venezuela supports Syria in all fields . Both countries have common interests as regards  resisting the forces of the Western hegemony, the strong relationship between  President Bashar Al-Assad and the late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez will continue under the leadership of newly –elected President Nicolas Maduro.

For his part, the Syrian Ambassador to Venezuela, Gassan Abbas, briefed attendees  on the latest developments of the situation in Syria, especially after the Israeli aggression.
