The Syrian Media : Uncovering Facts Not Misleading

Media freedom, which could be called proliferation freedom due to the spread of the power of technology, has made the world as an electronic global village. “The evolution of the media in the world made us realize and know what is going on in New York and elsewhere without knowing what is going on in the neighboring apartment,”   said Clovis Maksoud, the known political thinker.

Syria, which is exposed to a very brutal and ferocity media campaign led by strong and high-impact media satellite channels keeps the national media steady, because it says truth without exaggeration. It is also considered as a solid soldier who is defending Syria in particular and the Arab nation in general in terms of language, culture and civilization. The national media is proud of its identity that uncovers falsification.

Media system in Syria is a tightly weaved shield in defending the Arab nation’s character and fortifying its culture. It is an integral part of Syrian policy which calls for Arab solidarity. It is also a format or a style of work which begins to remove all causes of tension and estrangement between the sons of the Arab nation.

Despite the media attack’s severity which targets Syria, the national media did not give up its pan-Arab  nature where there is no difference between the pan-Arab and national media.

The Syrian media is a resistive national and nationalist one which is committed to moral, professional Arab honor, the Syrian media isn’t  dragged behind marginal media battles where the enemies of the nation are considered the only beneficiary  of misleading campaign.

The Arab Nation has been known throughout its prosperous history by openness to other cultures.

Where integration between our culture and those cultures  produced  great  intellectual legacy to extend its shadows on all humanity.

The Syrian Arab media which carried on its shoulders the burden of defending the interests of the Arab nation does not  complain about the weight of this burden, it will not forget that Syria was and will remain the beating heart of Arabism which will not back down from its decision as to make Media for conveying the facts not for misleading.
