Lavrentiev: US occupation troops must withdrawfrom Syrian territories

Nur-Sultan, ST- Russian President’s special envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev said that the  discussions in the 14th round of the Astana talks focused on the US illegal military presence in Syria and its looting of the Syrian oil which is unacceptable.

In a press conference in Nur-Sultan City, Lavrentiev affirmed that providing humanitarian aid for the Syrians and the assistance in the reconstruction should be done without any politicization or preconditions.

He added that the international parties shouldn’t interfere in the work of the Committee of Discussing the Constitution, indicating that the US occupation forces must pull out of the Syrian territories.

Lavrentiev indicated that the “White Helmets” terrorists are preparing for a new chemical provocation to accuse the Syrian Government.
