Syria says WMD used by US regime have caused indelible humanitarian disasters

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Syria has called on the U.S. regime to implement for just once what Washington brags about which is the prohibition ,the production and the use of Chemical weapons in the world.

The call came in a statement released today by a source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance for all Victims of Chemical Warfare that falls on November 30.
“On the occasion of the international anniversary of the victims of Chemical warfare, we all remember the wars waged by the United States under the pretext of the existence of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) where many countries and peoples and civilizations were destroyed. Among these countries we can refer to Iraq against which the  US launched a war based on lies and false information,” the source added.

It reminded the world that the United States detonated two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945, respectively.

“The Weapons of Mass Destruction used by the United States have caused indelible humanitarian disasters, which was and still is a stain on a state that claims Democracy, freedom and the safety of people and calls on others not to use that weapon,”the sources asserted.

It pointed out that the US regime and some western regimes fabricated reports about Syria’s use of chemical weapons during the ongoing war on Syria.

“We appeal to the US regime to put pressure on Israel to sign and implement the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) before shedding crocodile tears on the peoples it was behind the destruction of their countries and the maiming of children and the killing of hundreds of thousands of them,” the source concluded.
