Egyptian politician calls for unconditional withdrawal of US, Turkish occupation forces from Syria

CAIRO, (ST)- Egyptian politician and intellectual Farouk al-Ishri has called for the unconditional withdrawal of the American and Turkish occupation forces from Syria.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, al-Ishri said that “the the American and Turkish forces have entered the Syrian territories illegally and without the permission of the Syrian government, aiming at protecting the terrorist organizations which are implementing the agenda of the colonialist West that seeks fragmenting the region.”  

  The Egyptian intellectual hailed the efforts of the Syrian Arab army in confrontation of the terrorist organizations and in defense of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
