Turkish-backed delegation refuses to engage in discussions of constitutional committee

 Geneva-(ST)- A source of the Syrian national delegation confirmed that “the national delegation has been ready to engage in the national principles that no Syrian could disagree with, but the Turkish-backed delegation disagreed with us and refused to discuss these principles for reasons that have become known to all the Syrian people.”

The source said that for two days we have not taken part in any session because the Turkish regime delegation rejected the national principles that our delegation wanted to put forward.

 The source pointed out that the members of Turkish-backed delegation, who follow the orders of their Turkish masters, refused to engage in any discussion on the basic national principles that concern the Syrian people.

The source added that the dependence of the Turkish-backed delegation abroad made them refuse to discuss basic principles such as independence, sovereignty and the fight against terrorism, pointing out that “it is the Turkish regime-backed delegation who refused to join the sessions two days ago not our delegation because of their inability to discuss national issues such as rejecting the Turkish and American occupation and fighting terrorist organizations and terrorism.
