Copenhagen, (ST) – The Danish authorities have announced the revocation of the citizenship of two of their citizens because they joined the ranks of the terrorist organization “Daesh” in Syria.
The Danish Ministry of Immigration and Integration said in a statement today that two decisions have been taken to revoke citizenship because of behavior that is very detrimental to the vital interests of the state.
The ministry did not give details of the identity of the two, but according to the Danish press, a 25-year-old man with Turkish and Danish citizenship and a woman had their citizenship revoked.
European countries are witnessing a state of security alert for fear of the rebound of terrorism (that was supported by some of those countries and its crimes tolerated its crimes tolerated), especially after the terrorist attacks in several European cities.
