Ankara,ST- Former Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan criticized the policies of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, pointing out that these policies have pulled Turkey into a dark tunnel.
Babacan, who resigned from the ruling Justice and Development Party in last July due to deep differences with Erdogan, made it clear he intended to form a new political party.
Justice and Development party of Erdogan has witnessed several defections this year, most notably the resignation of Babacan and the former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu at a time when Turkey is experiencing a severe economic crisis with the depreciation of the lira, rising unemployment rate, inflation and rising prices.
