Intransigence of Turkish regime-backed delegation delays meetings of the mini committee for discussing the constitution
Geneva, ST-Meetings of the second day of the mini committee for discussing the Syrian constitution did not start due to the intransigence of the Turkish regime-backed delegation, and its rejection of the agenda submitted by the national delegation, according to sources from the civil society delegation.
The national delegation in the mini-Committee for Discussing the Constitution left yesterday the United Nations headquarters in Geneva as a result of not receiving a response on its agenda proposal under the title””national pillars of Syrian people interests”, it contains a set of national items of the agreement as a basis for the work of the Committee as a whole.
In violation of the Code of Conduct which was agreed on in the first round, the Turkish regime-backed delegation is still refusing to come to the UN Headquarters to discuss the agenda, sources close to the meetings of the constitutional committee said.
