Kilicdaroglu: Erdogan’s authoritarian policies are a threat to all Turks

On November 19, the President of the Republican People’s Party of Turkey (KPI), Kemal Kilicdaroglu, said that the policies of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan form a danger to all Turks and no one in Turkey is safe with his money or life under these policies.

“Erdogan has eliminated democracy and seeks to get rid of all his opponents through state institutions. Erdogan controls the judiciary which gives sentences according to direct instructions from him,” Kilicdaroglu said during a meeting of his party’s parliamentary bloc.

Kilicdaroglu reiterated his criticism of Erdogan’s policy towards Syria, noting that many of the repercussions of his policies can only be addressed through dialogue and coordination with the Syrian state.
