Aleppo Theatrical Days will be held on December 9th by the directorate of music and theatres in Aleppo. The event which will be held on the stage of the Artist Union in the city, includes various performances by Aleppo troupes and other activities including symposiums and lectures.

Syrian artist Ayham Kheir Bek recently displayed a number of his works within the framework of the exhibition of Artistic Experiences recently hosted by the Arab Cultural Centre in Abu Romaneh. Ayham’s paintings include Palmyra and Damascene Sword.

In the same exhibition, artist Sabriya Fattoum displayed five paintings, the most prominent is the one depicting the bravery of the Syrian Arab soldier and another highlighting the steadfastness of the Syrian people in confrontation of the devastating terrorist war launched against their country.  The spikes of wheat painting represents hope of rebuilding the country and restoring normal life after the defeat of terrorists.

Dummar Cultural Centre recently hosted a literary symposium on the experience of Syrian woman writer Amani al-Mane’i who said that her works authentically documented various aspects of social and political life in the city of Deir Ezzour, especially during the war. She focused on people’s cooperation to overcome difficulties emerging from the terrorist war against the city. The writer graduated from Damascus University, Department of Journalism and she published a number of works including “The Master of Words”, a collection of short stories and a novel titled “In Order to Avoid the Death of Love.”
