The Middle East Council of Churches Condemns Assassination of Armenian Archbishop in Qameshli

BEIRUT, (ST)-The Middle East Council of Churches has condemned the assassination of the Archbishop of the Armenian Catholic Church in Qameshli Hosep Apraham Bedoian and his father by unknown gunmen.

“Once again, terrorism hits innocent people and claims the lives of unarmed citizens. Terrorism yesterday killed the Archbishop of the Armenian Catholic church Hosep and his father while they were traveling from Hassaka to Deir Ezzour to supervise the renovation of the Armenian Catholic church in the city,” the Council said in a statement on Tuesday.

 It voiced strong condemnation of this horrible crime and all other crimes committed against innocent people.
