Kilicdaroglu: Erdogan’s policies toward Syria and the region go bankrupt

Ankara,(ST)  -Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s policies toward Syria and the Middle East in general have gone bankrupt because he has not pursued national policies but has always been at the service of Washington in the framework of the Greater Middle East Project, Chairman of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu affirmed.

In a statement to journalists in Ankara, Kilicdaroglu said “Erdogan along with the US, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have interfered in Syria under the pretext of democracy , but they supported the terrorist groups that destroyed Syria and forced millions of Syrians to leave their homes ”, stressing that these policies have proved tactically and strategically unsuccessful.

Kilicdaroglu pointed out that Erdogan has supported ISIS and he hasn’t seen it as a terrorist organization even after even after it had carried out terrorist acts in Istanbul and Ankara and other cities claiming the lives of many Turkish people, stressing that solving the problems between Syria and Turkey entails direct coordination and cooperation with the Syrian government with all of its legitimate institutions.
