The 2nd Forum of The Syrian Army Wounded

Homs, (ST)-Lamat Ezz and Sharaf, (Pride and Honor Gathering) team, in cooperation with the wounded  of the Syrian Arab Army in Tartous, has recently held the 2nd  Forum of the injured of the Syrian Arab Army and the accompanying forces in Al-Khair compound in Al-Nasera town in the western countryside of Homs. Many causalities from Homs and Tartous governorates participated also in the forum.

The two-day forum in Homs included cultural and artistic events to entertain the wounded as a confirmation that these people with their determination are able to live and do more for their homeland

During his visit to the forum, Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi, stressed that the victories achieved by Syria after nine years of war are due to the sacrifices of our brave soldiers, adding that it is our duty to take care of the families of our martyrs.

He thanked all the efforts and initiatives that are being carried out by special teams who supported their wounded colleagues.

Lt. Hassan Abadan, the founder of “Lamat Ezz and Sharaf” team, said that the meeting is a message to all people that life must continue and everyone is able to work despite his suffering and  injury. Many of our wounded, despite their injuries, have proven themselves strongly in many fields, whether sports tournaments or science, including those who have implemented many successful projects.

Bassam Mahfoud, director of the martyrs’ office in Homs, said that Homs governorate organized many forums as part of its ongoing follow-up to the families of the martyrs and the wounded. These forums aiming  for ensuring that our wounded heroes are able to continue giving more and more for their country despite their injuries. Participants in the forum stressed that the forum is an opportunity to achieve a lot of goals, especially for the wounded and is viewed an opportunity to exchange their experiences and stories of pride and steadfastness between each other.
