Syrian Arab army eliminates dozens of al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists

Syrian Arab army is reportedly intensifying its operations against foreign-backed terrorists and imposes full control on several areas outside the capital and in north and central provinces.

Actually, the armed forces is inching closer to cleansing Jarba town in al-Nashabeya area in Damascus countryside from all terrorists while factories of al-Iskan al-Askari and Majbal al-Zeft areas in al-Shekh Sae’d suburb outside Aleppo (north province) are officially declared under the full control of the army.   

This advance coincides with shelling tunnels, which were used by terrorists to convey and store weapons, in six towns in al-Qsir countryside outside Homs –al-Shomareya, al-Rablawi, al-Rahmoneya, farms of al-Zoubi and al-Kerdi, and Mahallat al-Sayyed-recently cleansed of terrorists. 

A big quantity of weapons and rockets were seized in the said towns and Hama province.

The army’s today-shelling, also, targeted terrorist groupings and their weapons in Jobar , al-Nabek and Yabroud areas in Damascus countryside, and towns of Saqeyet al-Kart, al-Rahmaleya and al-Qasab in Lattakia countryside, and al-Alqameya area and al-Msalameya areas outside Aleppo.

Most of the killed terrorists in the shelling are non-Syrians and affiliate to al-Nusra Front, according to SANA.

In this context, a military source noted that a unit of armed forces eliminated al-Nusra Front-affiliated terrorist group on Damascus-Sweida road as it was conveying weapons and ammunitions from  al-Hseneya area to Najra area outside Damascus.

All the weapons and ammunitions were confiscated.

As for fighting in Daraa province, it was reported that a unit of armed forces confronted an armed terrorist group tried to attack a military post in Tal –Akhdar outside the province.

Terrorist attacks Bab Tuma and Jaramana

 In a separate incident, two citizens were wounded by mortar shells landed on residential area In Jaramana suburb in Damascus countryside.

An official source at Police Leadership stated that two mortar shells, which were fired by terrorists, landed on a home near al-Soyof square in the suburb and left two citizens wounded plus damages at the scene.

Later on, two citizens were martyred and 10 others wounded by two terrorist attacks took place in the capital.

According to SANA, an explosive device detonated in al-Darj street in BabTuma area and two shells landed near the French Hospital in al-Qassa’a area.

The detonation left one martyr and 3 wounded.

While the two shells caused martyrdom of a citizen and 7 wounded.

Massive  damage was also reported.

Syria is facing a foreign-backed war that aims to weaken the Syrian Arab army and destroy national economy to serve Israel’s interests in the region.

The US, France, Britain, Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia fund and support the terrorist groups, who perpetrate heinous crimes against citizen and destroy Syria’s infrastructure
