President Al-Assad refers bill of 2020 state budget to People’s Assembly

DAMASCUS, (ST)- President Bashar Al-Assad on Sunday referred the bill of the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 2020 to the People’s Assembly.

According to the bill, the budget was set at SYP 4,000 billion, with an increase of SYP 118 billion compared to the 2019 budget.

The budget is distributed as follows: SYP 15 billion for the Social Support Fund, SYP 10 billion for Agricultural Production Support Fund, SYP 337 billion for the funding support and oil derivatives and SYP 83 billion for supporting the economic institutions which have been affected by terrorism, according to the Syrian News Agency SANA.
