The Arab Lawyers Union condemns the Turkish aggression on Syrian territories

Cairo, (ST) – The Union of Arab Lawyers condemned the aggression launched by the Turkish regime against Syria, stressing the necessity of solidarity with it in confronting this aggression.

“We do not recognize half-solutions and what Turkey is committing is an Israeli-American aggr   ession”, the Chairman of the Arab Lawyers Union Sameh Ashour said in a speech during the activities of the extraordinary permanent office of the Union under the title (No Turkish aggression on Syrian Arab territories). He called also on behalf of the Arab Lawyers Union to boycott Turkish goods and tourism.

Sayed Shaaban, a member of the Arab Lawyers Union, said: “We are holding an extraordinary meeting in Cairo to confront the Turkish aggression on Syrian territories. We are facing a new Middle East plan and an aggression against Syria which achieved victory against terrorism.” He condemned any division attempts by the Turkish aggression in northern Syria. .

For his part, Ayman Bilal, a member of the People’s Assembly and a member of the Syrian lawyers’ union said during the organizational session: “What Erdogan did during the war on Syria years ago and what he is doing today deserves to be brought to trial by the Arab Lawyers Union in coordination with the Syrian lawyers’ union”, pointing out that Syria achieved victory against the old Ottoman occupation and it will today achieve victory against the new Turkish occupation.

The Permanent Office of the Arab Lawyers Union discussed in its extraordinary meeting proposing a lawsuit against the Turkish regime in front of  the international courts because of its war crimes and its occupation of sovereign territories in Syria.

The Permanent Office stressed that Syria has faced many plots because of its Arab concern and its resistance
