Shooting down an Israeli drone in southern Lebanon

An Israeli enemy drone was shot down over the Fatima Gate in the town of Kafar Kila on the southern border of Lebanon with occupied Palestine.

The Lebanese National News Agency stated that “a citizen shot down this morning the enemy drone with a hunting rifle “, noting that the Israeli enemy admitted to the drone crash.

In August, two Israeli reconnaissance aircrafts violated Lebanese airspace over the southern suburb of Beirut, one crashed while the other exploded in the air and caused material damage only.

In addition, the Israeli warplanes renewed the violation of Lebanese airspace and carried out this morning flights over the areas of the south and Iqlim al-Tuffah.

The Directorate of the Lebanese Army Command said that two Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace and carried out a circular flight over various Lebanese areas from the south to the Bekaa and the north and then left the airspace towards the occupied territories.

The Lebanese army command stated that an Israeli gunboat violated the Lebanese territorial waters in front of Ras al- Naqoura, pointing out that the violation issue is being followed up in coordination with the UN Interim Force in Lebanon.

The Israeli enemy continues to violate Lebanese sovereignty, disregarding relevant international laws and resolutions, in particular Resolution 1701.
