” We Are Ready to Deter all Forms of Aggression”: Defense Minister

DAMASCUS, ( ST)_  Deputy Commander in Chief of the Army and the Armed Forces  and Defense Minister  Maj. Gen Fahd Jasm Freej on Wednesday inspected one  air base, accompanied by a number of officers of the army General Command , met with pilots and praised the high morale they enjoy.

General Freej  stressed that Syria is targeted over the key  role it plays in the axis of resistance and in addressing the US-Zionist scheme  in the region and that the recent  Israeli assault r confirms the size of involvement in the  ongoing events in Syria, describing it as a failed attempt to raise the morale of the armed terrorist groups , exterminated  under the blows of the Syrian  army.

” We are involved in the fight against terrorism and its sponsors and our brave  armed forces are fully ready  to deter all forms of aggression targeting  national sovereignty and  citizens security.” The Defense Minister said

He  praised the fighters and provided them with his directives  and the air base fighters   stressed readiness to carry out tasks assigned to them anytime, anywhere.
