Continuing works of the rehabilitation of infrastructure and vital streets in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor,ST-  Deir Ezzor City Council continued its works  to rehabilitate the infrastructure and vital streets in the city in order to restore normal life to its neighborhoods and provide basic services in light of the increasing number of families returning to their homes.

Raed Mandil, Chairman  of Deir Ezzor City Council said that as part of the recovery plan for the neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor, workshops started works  of the maintenance of  a number of major streets in the city, whether in populated neighborhoods or  those which were  lately liberated  from terrorism.

Before that, the city council had already completed the rehabilitation of the city’s infrastructure such as sewage, water, electricity and communications.

The head of the Technical Department of the City Council, Eng. Samih al-Khalil, pointed out   that all the works of the maintenance of roads in the city have been completed including the Jubaila souk street which is covered with an asphalt layer. This main street is located within the liberated neighborhoods and extends from Dawwar al-Intisar to Souk al-Hal with 1000 meters length and 11 meters width at a cost of 50 million pounds.
