Baghdad – Syria’s junior wrestling team won ten medals (three gold, five silver and two bronze) in Wrestling Junior Arab Championship 2019 which was held in Sulaymaniyah city in Iraq.
Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Jordan and Morocco participated in the competition.
Ali Nshiwati (92 kg cat, freestyle) won the gold medal, while Abdullah Hashish (48 kg) , Abdul Rahim Fawaz (45 kg), Mahmoud Sarghaye (55 kg), Ibrahim al-Tabbaa (60 kg) and Ahmed Deiraki (71 kg) won the silver medals. Also, Omar al-Khaledi (65 kg) won a bronze medal.
Ali Nshiwati (92 kg Greco-Roman) and Mohammed al-Obaid (65 kg Greco-Roman) won gold medal each, while Baha al-Nakdali (55 kg) won a bronze medal.
