HASAKA, (ST)- The Turkish regime forces and mercenaries on Saturday occupied two villages in Ras Al-Ein in Hasaka countryside and cut off Tal-Tamer-Ras Al-Ain road.
The villages are Jan Tamer Sharqi and al-Shukreya, according to SANA reporter.
Army thwarts attempt by Turkish regime’s mercenaries to infiltrate into army’s points in al-Ahras village
Earlier in the day, the Syrian army units thwarted an attempt by a group of Turkish regime’s mercenaries to infiltrate into the army’s points in al-Ahras village in the northwest of Tal Tamer in the countryside of Hasaka.
SANA reporter said that the army unit clashed with the attackers and drove them away.
Three new villages in Hasaka countryside regained by the Syrian army
On Friday, the Syrian Arab army expanded its range of deployment in Hasaka countryside by entering three new villages in the vicinity of Tal Tamer.
The army entered the villages of Salmas, Um al-Kheir and Gharnata in the western countryside of Tal Tamer were the locals gathered to greet the entering soldiers, according to SANA reporter in Hasaka.
The reporter said that the army units are maintaining their points of deployment in the rest of the villages and towns of Tal Tamer.
