No Options But Confronting Terrorism,Says al-Zou’bi

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ “the Syrians are insisted  to combat  terrorism and to find a political solution to the crisis based on an-all out  national dialogue without excluding anyone.”said Information Minister, Omran al-Zoubi.

Al-Zou’bi’s remark was made during his meeting on Wednesday with a media delegation from Latin America.

“the  foreign parties  do not want a solution to the crisis in Syria.Instead, they are  relentlessly seeking to  prolong  unrest and  chaos,”underscored al-Zou’bi.

The Minister wondered how could  be the region’s format  in the absence of a civil secular country as Syria, ”thus the end of the religious moderation that have formed a bridge between civilizations throughout centuries.”

“Syria will definitely go ahead as  it has no other options but to defend its independence, added that ”Syria is being targeted with the aim to render  a historic service to the Zionist project in the region, which cannot happen.”

Al-Zou’bi made it clear  that terrorists from 29 nations  under the name  ”jihadists” are flocking into Syria , noting that  Jihad in Islam means  a noble idea that they are trying to distort.

Al-Zou’bi clarified that  “Syria is  different from any other Arab state due to its nature and location, indicating that ”Syria is the only state that stands against the Zionist entity along with the resistance groups, and is the only state that won’t accept the US dictates and policies, which made it a target of colonizers.”

Addressing the delegation, al-Zou’bi recalled  “I am confident that Venezuelan people will follow in the footsteps of the late great leader(referring to the passing away of Venezuela’s great leader Hugo Chavez)adding that media played a crucial role as regards this matter.

For his part, Naim Shaabouq ,Head of the delegation , affirmed that the delegation’s visit aims  at conveying  the reality to foreign media and stress the support of the Latin American people with  the Syrian people.
