Noamkin: Russia’s priority is to ensure respect for the unity and sovereignty of Syria

Russia’s priority is to emphasize the need to respect the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, VitalyNaumkin, Scientific Director of the Russian Oriental Institute announced.

 In an interview with SANA correspondent in Moscow today, Naomkin said that the United States and Turkey violate Syria’s sovereignty by occupying areas there.

 Noamkin criticized the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory, calling on the Turkish regime to implement its obligations as one of the guarantors of the Astana process.

Naomkin pointed out that working according to what is known as the Adana Agreement is the best way to ensure the security of the border between Syria and Turkey, adding that Turkey must abide by it if it wants to maintain its security.
