European Coercive Measures Imposed on Syria Target the Syrian People in the First Place: Hungarian MP

BUDAPEST, (ST)- Member of the European Parliament for the Hungarian Christian Democratic People’s Party “Holvini Deordge” has called for lifting the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, stressing that they “target the Syrian people in the first place”.

During a European Parliament’s session, the Hungarian MP, stressed the necessity of lifting these sanctions and facilitating the return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland. He reiterated the need to also provide assistance to Syria in rehabilitating the damaged infrastructure, hospitals and schools.

 The European countries continue to implement the US dictates and impose inhuman illegal measures on the Syrians and some of them keep supporting terrorism in Syria.
