The Drug Enforcement Administration in Damascus has seized 8.000 Captagon pills inside a truck parked inside a garage in Sednaya city, located 27 km north of the city of Damascus.
A source at the administration declared that the Captagon pills were found after inspecting all trucks parked in the garage and that it had acted upon information sent to it.
“After questioning the garage’s guard, we knew that the truck had been parked in the garage since more than 2 years and its owner always comes to inspect it and sometimes he put bags inside it,” the source clarified, indicating that investigation will go on to unveil the persons involved in this case and to adopt necessary measures against them.
Last September, the Drug Enforcement Administration arrested 3 promoters at Homs-Tartous road and seized 31 kgs of Hashish with them.
