Liberated Syrian Town of al-Quseir Welcomes New Batch of Returnees

HOMS, (ST)-The Syrian town of al-Quseir in the western countryside of Homs on Wednesday witnessed the return of tens of displaced families after the damage in their houses was fixed and the service facilities in the town were rehabilitated.

The locals’ return comes within the framework of the Syrian government’s efforts to help the citizens who were displaced because of terrorism return to their areas which have been liberated by the Syrian army from terrorists.

Authorities in Homs province provided the transportation necessary to take the returnees to their houses.

On June 5th, 2013, the Syrian Arab army liberated the town of l-Quseir from terrorist groups and restored normal life there. Maintenance and workshops and service bodies rehabilitated the infrastructure including the schools as well as the electricity and water networks to ensure dignified life to the locals.
