Iranian official: Saudi regime involved in supporting terrorism and waging aggressive wars in the region
On September 30, Iran’s Representative to the UN General Assembly Farhad Mamdouhi confirmed the involvement of the Saudi regime in supporting terrorist organizations and waging wars in the region.
During a speech at the UN General Assembly meeting in New York, Mamdouhi said that Saudi Arabia’s practices in supporting terrorists in Syria and waging aggressive wars lead to destabilization of the region’s security and stability.
Mamdouhi said that the human rights violations in Saudi Arabia and the repressive practices against Saudi critics illustrate the terrible nature of the Saudi regime.
On the other hand, Mamdouhi said that the Iranian forces’ actions focused on the implementation of maritime laws and regulations to ensure peace and security of navigation and the flow of oil.
He stressed that any foreign presence in the Gulf region is a source of undermining security in it.
