Syria’s Steadfastness Foiled Hostile Schemes targeting its Existence: Algerian Ambassador

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Saleh Boucha has affirmed that Syria’s steadfastness in the face of the foreign-backed terrorist war and in the unilateral coercive economic measures has foiled the hostile schemes that targeted its existence.

The Algerian diplomat, whose mission as an ambassador to Syria is nearing its end, made the remarks during his meeting on Tuesday with Speaker of the Syrian People’s Assembly (PA) Hammoudeh Sabbagh.

The PA Speaker thanked Boucha for his efforts to boost ties between Syria and Algeria and highly appreciated Algeria’s support for Syria’s war on terrorism.

Sabbagh stressed the importance of further strengthening relations between Syria and Algeria in all domains and called for enhancing the parliamentary ties, in particular.

In a statement to reporters, Boucha congratulated the Syrian people over the victories achieved by the Syrian army in the fight against terrorism and expressed hope that Syria will restore its security and enjoy more prosperity and progress than before.
