Under the Patronage of President al-Assad, Prime Minister inaugurates the Children’s Hospital in Tartous

On September 21, Under the patronage of President Bashar al-Assad, Prime Minister Eng. Emad Khamis inaugurated the General Organization of the Children’s Hospital in Tartous governorate.

Director General of the Organization of the Children’s Hospital Dr. Yasser Joreh briefed Eng. Khamis and the accompanying delegation on the Hospital, pointing out that it provides diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical medical care to the patients as well as the educational and training role.

Eng. Khamis explained that the completion of this scientific and medical institution during the wartime reflects the will of the Syrian people and their commitment to rebuild their country and erase the effects of the terrorist war.

In a statement to reporters, Minister of Health Dr. Nizar Wahba Yazji praised the efforts exerted to in completing the building of the Hospital by Syrian national companies and workers.

The 6000m2- Hospital has 100 beds and 40 incubators at a cost of one billion and 200 million Syrian Pounds. It consists of 6 floors, ambulance and intensive care sections and patient reception sections.
