Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has warned that the initiator of the war against Iran will not end it.
“Iran would not be the first to start the war and I can confirm that.
Zarif said in an interview with CBS on September 22.
On America’s intention to send troops and military equipment to the Saudi regime,
Zarif said: “I do not think that such intentions are useful in any way. The best way is to finish the war in Yemen.
On September 21, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that the US withdrawal from the nuclear agreement is a sign of politicized engagement with the UN Security Council and Washington’s failure to adhere to its international obligations and bilateral agreements.
“America’s failure to implement its international obligations, bilateral agreements with other countries and the adoption of a unilateral approach are among the main reasons that threaten peace and security,” Zarif was quoted as saying in a message read at the World Peace Day ceremony at the Museum of Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense.
Zarif criticized the exploitation of the mechanisms of the United Nations, especially the Security Council, the lack of commitment of some forces and members of the United Nations to the content of the Charter of the United Nations and the lack of initiative to reform the structure of this Organization, pointing out that these things are part of the reasons for the lack of security and the dissemination of culture in the world.
Zarif said that some countries perceive that they have the power to impose their political views and visions, so they have taken the path of intervention, monopoly and uniqueness, which are the same things that are rooted in previous wars and ongoing conflicts.
Zarif reiterated that Iran has always exerted its efforts in promoting regional and international peace and security, especially its support for its commitments under the nuclear agreement, in addition to its essential role in combating terrorism, especially the fight against ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
