Chairman of the Board of “Abna’a al-Golan” association, lawyer Hossam Al Aflak explained in a statement to SANA that the festival is a tribute to the steadfastness of our people in Golan in the face of the Zionist occupation. All our people in the occupied Golan declare their rejection of the arbitrary practices of the Zionist occupation aimed at removing them from their homeland Syria.

They also reject the occupation’s attempts of   normalization. We are confident that the occupation will be defeated, as the terrorist organizations were defeated from all Syrian territories, thanks to the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army.

The festival, which lasts until the end of the week, will also include a classical concert, a children’s play entitled “Karkaba”, a film screening “Abu Saber” and a poetry evening by a number of poets.
