Heroic retaliation confirms resistance credibility

The recent operation which targeted a military patrol for the Israeli occupation in response for the recurring Israeli aggressive attacks against Lebanon’s sovereignty and its resistance is a source of pride for the Arab people nation-wide.

The operation has proved that the Lebanese resistance is capable of preserving Lebanon’s sovereignty, liberating the rest of its occupied territories, and repelling Israeli aggressive attacks which escalate tensions and create anarchy in the region.

The qualitative operation in which Hezbollah’s Hasan Zbeeb and Yasser Daher’s unit targeted an Israeli military vehicle on the road at the Avivim Israeli base proves that the option of resistance is the most powerful one that can deter the enemy. This retaliation also proves the resistance’s power, deterrence and loyalty to the Arab people’s noble objectives.

The Victory of the path of resistance is closer today in light of the deterrence achieved against the Israeli enemy, thanks to steadfastness and courage of resistance fighters and their ability to deal with all military situations.

Lebanese resistance men exert their right of defending their country against the Israeli occupation. The operation attested to the resistance front’s determination to combat threats and destabilizing forces. The heroic retaliation confirms the resistance credibility that has been built through years of heroic acts.

The resistance retaliation in the Israeli depth shows the resistance strength and confirms Arab people’s right to defend their land and people. The operation was meant to send the message to Israel that if you attack, then all your borders and forces will be at risk.  Through the latest heroic act against the Israeli forces, the resistance group broke the so-called “biggest red line” by targeting forces across the border and inside the occupied Arab territories.

Israel’s aggression against Lebanon violates the principles of international law. As a result of the international community’s meaningful silence and unlimited US support, the bankrupt Israeli regime is trying to undermine the Lebanese people’s honorable resistance. The international community, particularly the United Nations, should not remain silent over the Tel Aviv regime’s acts of aggression, which have fueled instability and insecurity in the region and the entire world.

Defending the interests of the Lebanese people is the chief approach followed by the resistance movement, as the movement enjoys significant popular support in the Arab World.

Protecting the Lebanese people’s interests and taking action based on those interests is the main approach followed by Hezbollah in making political and defense decisions.

Hezbollah’s recent response to Israel’s aggression signals limitation to the occupation regime and showed that the movement takes care not to hit civilian targets as opposed to Israelis, who intentionally target civilians and public and private properties.

 Israel must pay a price for any violation of the Lebanese sovereignty. Giving a proper response to Israel over the drone incursions is the right and duty of the Lebanese national resistance. Israel should know that the Lebanese air space is not open to it. The new operation means that the resistance will not tolerate any further violation of the Lebanese airspace by intruding Israeli drones.

The response to Israeli attack could come from anywhere in Lebanon and not only from the Sha’baa farms south of the country.
