Aleppo International Dentistry conference kicked off with large Arab and foreign participation

The 2019 Aleppo International Dentistry Conference kicked off on Saturday at Shahba Hotel in Aleppo, with the participation of more than 1,600 dentists and higher education students from Syria, Arab and foreign countries.

Dr. Aiesh Guneim, Deputy Chairman of the Dentists Syndicate, said that the large participation reflects the doctors’ interest in briefing on the latest developments of dentistry as well as the exchange of experiences among researchers.

 Chairman of the Board of the Aleppo branch of the Dentists Syndicate Dr. Ayman Sayyed Wahbe said that the activities of the two-day conference include more than 43 lectures, an exhibition of dental equipment by 35 international companies and an exchange of expertise among researchers.

He added that there are participants from several Arab and foreign countries including Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen, Mauritania, Germany, Italy and Canada.

The participants confirmed that holding the conference proves the recovery of Syria in general and the city of Aleppo in particular and is evidence of the Syrians’ steadfastness.

During the ceremony, a dance performance was presented by Yael Theater Company, which tells about the unjust war in Syria, the victory of the Syrian people over terrorism and the return of life to Syrian cities, in addition to providing musical compositions.
