A new ceasefire agreement in Idleb is approved

A military source has announced that a ceasefire agreement in the de-escalation zone in Idleb is approved and it will come into effect on August 31 with the right of response to any terrorist groups” violation, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA). 

The announcement comes after the Syrian army’s recapture of the strategic Taman’aa town and several strategic hills in the countryside of Idleb.

On August 1st, a ceasefire agreement was reached in the same zone, but terrorist groups violated the agreement just few hours after it went into effect and they fired rocket on Bshalma town in the south-east side of Qerdaha town in Lattakia, killing one civilian and wounding 3 others.
