President al-Assad receives French National Rally Party delegation

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ President Bashar al-Assad received today a delegation representing the French National Rally Party headed by Thierry Mariani.

The talks dealt with the recent victories achieved by the Syrian army in Hama and Idleb, the Turkish support to terrorist groups in Idleb , the foreign terrorists who are fighting in Syria and the US Administration’s policy that seeks to keep the region in chaos, according to the Syrian Presidency website.

The meeting also included talks on issues of common interest, especially Europe’s policies towards the region, extremism, terrorism, the damage resulted from these policies and the future of Europe and its relation with other countries.
