Syrian Arab army advances in strategic sites

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian Arab Army is rapidly advancing in strategic sites, especially in Damascus countryside and al-Qsir area in Homs province, and inflict heavy losses upon foreign-backed terrorists in several provinces. 

The recent advance in the Eastern Ghouta outside Damascus and capturing Wadi al-Sayeeh in the central Homs province is a strategic achievement, According to the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV. Channel.  

Today (Friday), Units of armed forces confiscated weapons and ammunitions including US-made machine guns in Htetet al-Terkman in the Eastern Ghouta, and eliminated unknown number of terrorists in Jobar, Darayya and al-Abbadeh areas outside the capital.

Terrorists quarrel over sharing loots

In the same province, it was reported that a quarrel broke out between two terrorist groups in Doma district over sharing loots resulted in killing 10 terrorists and wounding 20 others.

Meanwhile, several hideouts of terrorists have been shelled in countryside of Homs, Hama Aleppo, and Idleb where many terrorists from al-Nusra Front were killed.

Other terrorists were eliminated when they tried to attack Abo al-Dohor military airport in Idleb countryside.

In the country’s south province, the Syrian alikhbaria al-Soreyeh TV channel reported that fighting broke out between units of armed forces and armed terrorist groups in Nawa and Kherbret Ghazaleh towns in Daraa province ended in killing nearly 10 terrorists.  

Mortar shells hit al-Tejara alley

In a separate incident, terrorists fired two mortar shells on al-Tejara alley in Damascus leaving serious damages at the scene.

A source at Police Leadership said that the first shell landed on al-Adawi highway, the north entrance to Damascus, and a citizen has been wounded there.

While the second shell landed in “Bassam Hamsho” School in the alley left  serious damages in the school.

Syria is facing a foreign-backed war that aims to weaken the Syrian Arab army and destroy national economy to serve Israel’s interests in the region.

The US, France, Britain, Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia fund and support the terrorist groups, who perpetrate heinous crimes against citizen and destroy Syria’s infrastructure.
