Palestinian Group Raps Arab League’s Decision to Swap Land with Zionist entity

The People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine lashed out at the recently declared decision by the Arab League ministers to swap land with the Zionist regime of Israel, warning that the AL has consented to the plan in a move to coax the US into military intervention in Syria.

“We condemn the agreement of the Arab Peace Plan’s board of ministers on the modification of the plan and their agreement with the modification of the June 4, 1967 borders through implementing land swap with the Quds occupying regime,” the People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine said in a statement on Wednesday.

The new political privileges that the Arab League has presented to Israel are not what the Palestinian and Arab nations want, the statement said.

The Arab League seeks to coax the US and the Zionist regime into military intervention in Syria by making such dangerous concessions to them, it added.

The Arab League modified its peace proposal for the conflict in Palestine to include support for land-swaps between Israel and the Palestinians.

Land-swap proposals have been brought up before, most often in the context of Israel using such a proposal to “expel” the Arab villages(occupied in 1948) into a new Palestinian state while keeping the large settlement blocs in the West Bank.
