Citizens in Lattakia and Tartous Join National Campaign to Sign Longest Letter of Support for Occupied Syrian Golan (2)
LATTAKIA/ TARTOUS, (ST)-The people of the Syrian provinces of Lattakia and Tartous on Saturday took part in a national campaign to sign the longest letter of support, amity and loyalty for the occupied Syrian Golan.
The campaign, called “Yalla Sawa” (Let’s Go together), aims to stress the Syrian Arab identity of the Golan.
It began in Sweida, going through several provinces before arriving at Tartous on Saturday evening, from which it will continue until it reaches its final destination: the UN HQ in Damascus, to which the participants will deliver a letter protesting Trump’s declaration on the occupied Syrian Golan, according to the Syrian news Agency SANA.

Participants in the campaign affirmed their adherence to their land, reiterating that Golan will continue to be a Syrian land and that the US president’s Golan Declaration has no value because the one who doesn’t own can’t give and because only the Syrian people have right in their own lands.
The participants stressed their rejection of all procedures and attempts targeting the unity and sovereignty of their homeland, reiterating that Golan is an integral part of Syria.
They made it clear that the Syrian people won’t cede an inch of their land and that the Syrian Golan will be restored sooner or later, because what is taken by force won’t be restored except by force.
